Am I responsible for wife's credit cards
I have been married a year and am in the process of divorce. I never lived with my wife because 1 week after marrying I went to Iraq. I got back 6 months later and a week after that she was arrested for felony drug activity. Since released from jail she has been living on credit cards taken out in her maiden name. Is there any way the credit card companies come after me if she doesn't pay the bill or ends up incarcerated? Kansas

You are not a cosigner or authorized signer on the credit cards, and have never made a charge on the cards? You did not sign the applications (or consent during the phone conversation if the application was by phone)? The bills come in her name only?
