They investigate the allegations thoroughly. You'll be interviewed, your father will be interviewed, your counselors and teachers will be interviewed.
If it's determined that you're being abused, there are a number of options. Your father may be required to take parenting classes. You might be removed from your home and placed into foster care.
In no instance will you be permitted to live on your own until you reach the age of legal majority.
