About noprimenumbers
- Biography:
- I turned myself in to the police and told them everything I had done. I was not held and walked out of the police station on my own. I went to court for plea and arraignment and was released on OR. (That part was a tragic comedy. I kept saying guilty and he kept telling me I couldn't plea that way in that court. I couldn't understand why. I never did say not guilty though.) Then I went to court and found that I was the only witness and there was no evidence. I could have said not guilty and walked out. And even if it was brought back up later I could not have been convicted. (According to the judge) In order to get the judge to accept my guilty plea I had to explain that it was the only way to get the help that I and the girl needed to get better. The judge had to get verification of this before he would accept the guilty plea. That was 1991 and I feel that I did the right thing at the time and despite the changes in the laws I still feel it was right. My sentence was SIS with 5 years probation.
