    Default Second Extension

My first extension will run out in the end of May. I was able to get the first extension without filing another claim. EDD notified me and my claim forms arrived as usual. Should I expect that to be the case for the 2nd extension? I would hate to assume that my claim will continue if I don't file for the second extension.

    Thanks, Fred

    Default Re: Second Extension

If you are talking about California, here is what the EDD website says:

HOW TO FILE THE SECOND EXTENSION
Once you have collected all extended benefits on your first extension claim, you may be eligible to file a second extension claim. If you are eligible to file a second extension, the Department will automatically file the second extension and send you additional continued claim forms. No action is required on your part.
