Default Can You Collect Disability Benefits After Moving to Another Country

If one becomes disabled are they able to move to another country and still collect their disability benefits? Are there exemptions, special conditions, etc?

Default Re: Disabled, Able to Move Over Seas to Reside

Are you a US citizen or a permanent resident alien who is a citizen of another country? That makes a difference.

Can't move to North Korea or Iraq or Afghanistan and get SSDI. There are some other barred countries.

Can't get SSI if you move anywhere outside the US or travel outside the US for 30 days.
