    Cool Plain vs Stylized Text

I would like to trademark my company name, which is a custom stylized version of the name. Which should I register first- the plain text or the stylized text?

If you want to protect your art / logo (or whatever it is we're talking about) in addition to the text, register both.

You can register one or both, assuming that the plain text name is capable of being registered. If it is too generic, a person's name, or a conflict, then it could not be registered.

If it is capable of being registered, you would always register the plain words before any graphical mark.

However, just using the words in some stylized type face is not much of a trademark.
