Well, it just so happens that I got cited for VC22350 last week on the way to Tahoe and this case has been assigned to the court in Placerville, CA El Dorado county. GRRRRR...
While I think I can handle a VC22350 ticket for 66mph in a 55mph zone, I need some intel on how that particular court is run. Is the judge(s) doing judging or just running a stereotypical small-town ticket mill? Do the judges offer traffic school after finding people guilty (I'm eligible)? Any other quirks I need to know?
So far the only thing I found out after searching here is that the court seems to have a problem with giving defendants a copy of the officer's declaration. I really don't feel like burning up a day and $50+ worth of gas to drive down there and watch a calendar myself. If anyone here had any experience with that court, please share or PM me!
Thanks!
