Possibly Drugged in a Club

my gf was drugged in a club after ordering a drink and having a free shot offered from the bartender and taken by a guy to a hotel. she remembers the guy trying to have sex with her but her pushing him away. woke up dressed and the guy actually gave her a ride. she went to police and hospital, which said probably nothing happened but she should take hiv medicine. wanna know if they guy or the club can be punished for anything.

The hospital found what drugs in her system?

that happened at 3am between sat and sun, woke up 12 hrs later and she just went to the police this morning (monday). dont have any results from the blood test yet, but will tell her to ask for the results. she still has stomach ache now and was throwing up the whole day on sunday.
she had a friend with her that also felt dizzy but rushed into a cab and feels sick.
hopefully wasnt too late and something is still traceble.

In all likelihood your girlfriend was just drunk. If she was slipped a date-rape drug then she wouldn't have remembered trying to have sex, she wouldn't have remembered anything about that night.

My take is that this guy went to the bartender and told him that he wanted to buy your girlfriend a drink. The bartender took this guys money and flipped a shot glass over in front of your girlfriend and said "that gentleman over there wants to buy you a drink". She accepted the drink and started to have a conversation with this man. The both of them went to a hotel room and she came to her senses and realized what she was doing was wrong. This is why the guy stuck around the whole time to give her a ride to where she needed to go.

Commonsense would tell you that anyone that would try to drug someone for sex wouldn't stick around until the victim came to there senses.

Very good imagination, but with all due respect, it's because of this way of thinking that i'm afraid if this case isn't gonna go anywhere.

I'm out of town - not only town - in Brazil right now. If she had something to lie about she just didn't have to tell me anything cause I would never know. My gf is a 22 year old model. she woke up next to what she described hideous geek. she told her father and went to the police and hospital. For someone that is afraid of doctors and hospitals, she had to go through a series of exams (gynecological, blood and urine). She doesn't stop crying, cannot sleep or eat properly and is afraid of staying alone. her friend that was with her had the same symptoms after having the shot (throwing up, dizziness, amnesia, slept for 12hrs straight and they both still have stomach pain, 72hrs after that). If all of that was made up she should give acting a shot.

The only thing that I agree with is that "anyone that would try to drug someone for sex wouldn't stick around until the victim came to there senses". I do believe that she and her girl friend were drugged by the barman. Her friend made it home but she ran into a guy that decided to pick up a visually intoxicated, passed out puking girl into a cab and take her to a hotel to tried to have sex with her but he was the one that actually "came to his senses and realized what he was doing was wrong". That's why she remembers him on top of her trying to kiss her and he pushing him away and her being dressed when she woke up. And although nothing else hopefully happened (the results are gonna come up in the first week of may), she is very disturbed from the fact of being abduct by a stranger against her will and be taken advantage of.

the free shot served by the bartender was very sweet and could be used to hide the taste of ghb . we learned that the symptoms from ghb poisoning cannot be traced after 8-12hrs.

the police report names the incident as unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and sexual harassment.
