My daughter was an out of control teen. She was into drugs and "parties" at friends houses all night long. She was skipping school and lieing about everything. She ran away and falsely accused me of child abuse so that she could move in with her girlfriend (the parents were providing the pot and alcohol for the parties). I was found innocent of abuse and was told that I could have charged her with incorgibility and sent to "Boot Camp or Lock-up".
She straightened up for a few months and then she began acting out again.
I kicked her butt to the curb!
She went to stay with the friend but eventually they kicked her out to. She lived with another friend for about two weeks and they were evicted. She then moved into the towns "party house" and was beaten up so badly (by her now ex-friend) that she was taken to the emergency room where she suffered a bruised kidney and several lacerations to her face.
She vowed to change and I gave her a place to stay for a few weeks and talked her into going to Texas to live with her dad's side of the family.
It didn't take her long to decide to join the military (with my full encouragement).
I am happy to say that we are now best friends. She loves the Army.
She regrets her behavior and has apologized to me several times.
She tells my other children living in the home, to never disrespect me, or they will have to deal with her!!!
You need to ask yourself why your mother wants to file incorigibility charges against you. Are you disrespecting her wishes?
It is not easy to be out on your own or locked up in "Boot camp" in West Virginia.
Make sure that you are willing to pay the price for your actions.
