Default Can I get Government cheques still?
Um, dunno if this is the right place to post this thread so I'm sorry if it's wrong.

I moved out of my mom's home when I turned 17 but before that I got cheques because my Dad died. I was wondering, is there any way that I can get those cheques? Or at least make sure my Mom isn't getting them at least?

I live in Calgary, AB if that helps.

I know little about the Canadian system, but the information on the Human Resources and Social Development website suggests that you can get the benefits sent to you if you are no longer a dependent child.
