Getting the Police to Enforce a Bench Warrant

Hi guys!

I was physically hit by a woman in Austin, TX but did not go to the police until 3 days later. Thus only thing i could file was "Simple Assult by Contact" which is basically same as traffic tickets. The woman contested and I went to the court to face her. She did not show up (she thought i would not show up and the charge would be dropped) and The judge issued the bench warrant for her arrest. She moved to another city in Texas and I did not know where she was but i just got her cell phone number and I know what city she lives in.

I recently went to the Austin Police Dept website to see if the warrant was still on file since i got new info on her. And I found out she has 15 other traffic warrants other than assult charge filed by me. The website states that I could report whereabout of the person but i wanted to see if the police would go statewide to arrest her.

My question is the bench warrant statewide or just city/county-wide??

You would have to ask the police, or some other authority with access to the record for the bench warrant.
