Default Parole Board Has Requested a Letter from the D.A., in New York

I am insterested in any information regarding the Parole Board requesting a letter from the DA office (county of conviction). Is it normal practice before initial board appearance?

    Any info appreciated.

Parole Boards can use any information for there decission. Victims can make written or verbal statements to the board. Corrections Staff can give a report to the board on the persons conduct since incarcerated.

So yes this is normal practice.
