In a nutshell the children's Father cannot Maintain his sobriety during his weekend visitations with our children. Easter Sunday he could not meet at our meeting point to exchange the children and was so intoxicated he could not even give me directions to their location. He also lacks any type of stability, living with 4 different people, 3 different women, in two different states since Dec of 2005. The children come home every other weekend emotional wreaks and it takes days of “de-programming” before they find any stability again. Neither of us had an attorney but I had temporary orders that he was not to drink in their presence and again have orders he is not to as well. This problem is not going to go away regardless of the courts orders; he has no regard for them. I think I need to seek supervised visitation, but how do I convince the courts of the severity of the problem or find a lawyer I can afford?
