    Default Shoddy Workmanship on Lawn

Last year we paid close to $5000 to have the entire lawn seeded. Twelve months later only about 10% of the area has grass. Now into the second spring season, can we recoup damages?

To recover damages you would have to demonstrate that the grass died because of negligence by the installer (or a breach of warranty - but if there is a warranty you should be asking the installer to honor the warranty). It doesn't automatically follow that, just because the grass died, your installer did something wrong.
