Eviction of Roommate No Lease/No Rent

My question involves an eviction in the state of: Texas

I own a home in Tyler, Tx when I moved in to my house about 9 months ago i rented out a room to one of my friends. We made a verbal agreement that he would pay no rent and only pay the utilities. There have been a few times he has been late on paying the bills that are in my name resulting in the gas and water been cut off recently, probably hurting my credit in the process. Also he has made quite a few verbal threats. For example when I told him i would give him 30 days to move out he said he would whoop my ass on day 30. How can i get this guy out of my house ASAP, 30 days or not?

You give him a 30 day notice to get out. If he doesn't leave, you initiate formal eviction proceedings through the JP court.

If he lays a hand on you, get the police involved.
