I'm buying a house in Florida and I'm married. I'm doing everything under my name.
Bank and title agency are saying that my wife will have to sign something too. I could not get an answer from bank and the title agency is saying we let you know when we receive a closing package from the bank. They are running in circles.
Can anyone give me an idea what exactly my wife will have to sign?
What if I want to keep her out of the deed? In case of divorce I don't want to loose a house. I'm buying it and paying for it. She has nothing to do with it. Other words I'd like to have 100% ownership and be protected.
Should she sign quitclaim deed? So she won't have any interest to this house, right? And I will be able to sell it with out her signature in future?
