    Default Sex Offender

Can a court undue a designated registered sexual offender? I beleive it was in NM or AZ, probably 10 years or so ago, boyfriend in early 20's had sex with his girlfriend 17 at the time I think, parents turned him in, he was convicted, forced to register and now has to jump through the hoops of whatever that all encompasses, so they've been married 10 years, 3 children, no problems, could he petition the court in any way to recind that? Or once you're on the list, you're always on the list? I was wondering, most RSA'ers have to stay clear of public places where children usually congregate, so what about his 3 kids?

Most states do have an avenue to end registration after a period of time. He would need to contact an attorney in the jurisdiction that he was convicted in to apply.

Thanks for the response, I'd like to think under a circumstance like this, after many years of being married and several children together, there'd be some recourse
