    Default Price switching

I am ashamed to admit that for a couple of years, on and off, I have been switching price tags on items at Kmart. I am recently going through an unrelated court case (divorce)and my attorney heard from the other attorney that a clerk from Kmart knows I'm switching tags. It has been close to a years since I had last done anything like that. I don't do it any more. I'm scared that I'm on tape and Kmart is building a case against me, is this possible? Like I said I haven't done it in close to a year, the guilt was horrible! Can I get in trouble for things I did so long ago? I am so scared!

If nothing has happened and it has been a year since the last incident, it is unlikely that there will be any charges. But from what you say, should you return to this type of conduct you will be putting yourself at a high risk of arrest and prosecution. If a clerk at K-Mart knows what you were doing, and knows you well enough to relate that fact to others, you should count on loss prevention monitoring you when you shop there (and quite possibly at other stores where you have engaged in similar conduct).

Believe me I know it was wrong. I have a ten year old daughter and it would embarasse me if she knew what I had done. So I stopped before I got caught. I will never go into that store again. I know I did wrong, I live with the fear of them coming to get me! Thanks
