I am in the state of California.
I was told from my property management company if I like to inspect my own property, the tenant can legally refuse to let me in, even with a prior 24 hour notice.
It has been 15 months since my new tenant move in, so far they have leave a huge oil stain in my drive way and a broken side gate twice, rent paid 2 weeks late month after month plus not paying some of their utility fees, which by the way I fixed and paid for all of them.
Since my tenant are not exactly the most responsible individuals, I'm a little skeptical about what they'll do to my interior.
My question is, is it true that I can not inspect my own property unless they move out first.?
