U.S. Citizen Wants to Marry an Indian Immigrant

I have been dating my boyfriend for quite sometime now and he was on A student Visa from India. However something happened and I am not sure because i know nothing about that stuff but he had to go back to India for some reason. We were planning on getting married. I am also a full time college student and i have chose to go to school full time over going to work. what will I have to do once we apply for marriage and with me being a college dstudent do I have to sponsor him or is there another way around it?

If you don't have the resources to sponsor him, and he too is a student of meager means, you will need somebody else to sponsor him.

Generally speaking, you can seek a fiance visa and marry him within 90 days of his entry into the U.S., or you can marry him elsewhere then seek a spouse visa to bring him into the U.S.
