I did a U turn at a bend - I had over 200' visibility on both sides. I was going towards Market but did a U turn before the pedestrian crossing. Nowhere it says no-U-Turn.

There were no stripes but yellow lines.
No sign showing U-turn prohibited.
It was a safe U-turn but later Cop pulled me over.

If you search Google map for "The alameda and Market st, santa clara, ca" and choose satellite you can see the aerial view - be warned that the yellow paint is diffused over in the satellite picture.

After being Pulled over the Cop was yelling even as he got off the bike - short of assaulting me - felt my personal safety was threatened.

Do I have a case? Which method is better?

The tkt shows a date of on or before for court appearance but no time is mentioned but a line is drawn there.
