I have been for 8 years working in USA, and have pending my I-485 adjustment of status based on employment. I am actually working with my sponsor. Due to medical reasons (my wife has complications with pregnancy and delivery) we are struggling with too much debt and have received the advice to file bankruptcy chapter 7. My wife is not working. I have been always with pretty good credit until this situation. How the bankruptcy could affect my process? I am not asking for any help, and I am current with my home and cars. I only have too much debt with credit cards and medical bills.
