    Default Valid Non-Custodial Contact Information

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Kentucky

Is the non-custodial parent required to provide the child support office and/or the custodial parent with a valid, up-to-date phone number and address? And if so, could someone point me to the Kentucky Revised Statutes or guidelines so that I can refer to a document? Thanks.

It is not required unless there is a court order to provide it.

So if it is not required to provide it, how can the custodial parent get in contact with the non-custodial parent in the event of an emergency? For example, the non-custodial parent has visitation of the child and the custodial parent has a family emergency that would require them to go out of town and arrangements need to be made regarding the child. Or, if the child has to go to the hospital, how does the custodial parent contact the non-custodial parent?

Most courts require it. Have you read the court orders?

Yes, it doesn't mention it anywhere in the court orders. Should a motion be filed to have it written that the non-custodial parent is required to provide the custodial parent with accurate contact information (i.e., phone number and address) as soon as it changes?

The non-custodial parent has changed his telephone number multiple times in effort to avoid talking to the custodial parent, and lives about an hour away. Not to mention the non-custodial parent has failed to provide the custodial parent and child support office with updated employment information.
