Default How Late Can I Request a Continuance

My question involves traffic court in the State of: California

My court date is coming up (Feb 16) and I'm wondering if it is possible at this point for me to request a delay of the trial?

    Thanks!

Have you been to your arraignment yet (did you enter a plea of "not guilty" and request a trial)? Or will Feb 16th be your first court appearance?
I am right 97% of the time... Who cares about the other 4%!

Regardless, it's virtually impossible to reschedule 2 business days before.
If you wanted babies all to yourself, you should have created them by yourself. Until you do that, children have the right to BOTH parents, especially since you found them suitable to procreate with.

you'll have to show up and ask the judge - but you'd better have a really good reason for a continuance and why you haven't arranged one sooner.

I requested a continuance the day of my trial, the Judge granted it without much of a fight. YMMV.
