If the matter was reported to the CA DOJ, or you were booked (prints taken), then there will be a Criminal Offender Record for you.
And both the court and the arresting agency will have a record of the arrest and any crime report. The court records are publicly available and a public records' check in that county will likely result in the record popping up. Many on-line background firms would be able to obtain this info from the courts - not likely from the police department ... the police tend to keep their records a little closer to the vest.
