No. File your motion and you can request that it be heard at your next court hearing, whether that be your arraignment or your trial.

My arraignment date is a few days before the 20 days I have to wait since I mailed my informal discovery requests. Is the best course of action to ask for an extension until the prosecution is given the full time possible to send their evidence?
