Question File for Changed of Status but Do Not Intend to Immigrate

I'm an F1 visa marrying a U.S citizen in August 09. I filed for change of status a while ago and received the notice to appear for an interview. I will graduated at the end of May 2010.
I have recently changed my mind and decided to go back to my country of origin with my husband for work. However, assuming i get a conditional green card, it only allows no more than 180 days of traveling outside the country. What can I do when I don't intend to immigrate to the U.S permanently yet, and only want to travel back and forth with my husband visiting family? I want a green card so traveling back and forth will be easier but I don't intend to live in the U.S permanently yet (maybe future). Also the green card required three years of permanent residence so how can I fulfill that when I'm working in another country?

    State: CA
