Default Child Support and School Grants / Loans

    California
My soon to be ex wife has provided the court with her income declaration page, how ever i know for a fact that she earns 2 - 3000 every 2 months from school based on her college grants. she brags about it all the time but failed to include it in the income declaration sheet. should i bring this up in court the next time we go?

Generally speaking, the portion of undergraduate college grants used for tuition and schooling-related expenses is not considered income. The portion used for room and board, however, is - at least for purposes of income tax.

i know for a fact thats what she does because she has been doing this for years before our divorce. I used them also before i got my degree. now, when i found out she was cheating i questioned her how she would take money ment for the family and spend it on another man - she said it was all from her college grants. she also used that for christmas gifts and now she has another one coming in feb, because she told our kids. i also work at the county and have to ask for this type of thing for budgeting when it comes to medical /foodstamps. theres an award letter and everything that comes along with it, which details that the state pays for the school fees and the rest of the grants is because of her claiming she was a house wife. well she works, gets child support and still recieves this extra no pay back cash

That is not quite what I meant.

PROVE which portions are not being spent on tuition and college-related expenses (seriously - do you have any idea how easy, and plausible, it is to list just about anything and everything as a college expense?).

does it really matter what she intends it for? im looking at this paper work and im reading it right now , requesting any and all income , earned , unearned, loaned and money recieved from other people, and any other sources. i can easily say that my income is used for bills...theres always a reason behind what you earn. however, how and why do i have to be exposed but she has excuses
