Green Card, 2 Years Out of USA Because of Illness

My fiance has a valid Green card but she has stayed here in Sweden for 2 years now with no re-entry permit. She doesn't want to lose her green card. She has a permanent address in the states, a bank account, a SS card and drivers lisc. but did not file a tax return last year. Also the reason for her stay in Sweden was because of illness that has kept her here which was out of her control.

Can she get a Returning Resident visa (SB-1)??
(because of illness, which we have documentation)

Can she try and come into the States with a new Swedish passport and her Green card?

Can we get married in Sweden and she then apply for US citizenship from Sweden? (Since she already has a green card thats still valid)

She really needs to speak with an attorney familiar with US immigration issues - and get in touch with the Consulate there in Sweden.

She may or may not qualify for the SB-1; it's very difficult to tell at this point.

Has she actually been out of the US for more than two years? A little under two years?

(this may make a difference).

she doesn't want to lose her green card and have to go through the process again, she wants become a citizen but we want to stay in Sweden because of her medical treatments
