Registration Laws in Colorado

My question involves vehicle registration or title in the state of: colorado

When applying for registrating the vehicle can some one other then name on the title register the vehicle under their name.

The title is in my name and registration would be under some one else you name is not on the title.

Reason I am asking I broke up with my nutcase fiancee and my name is one the title of the vehicle because the Ford dealer screwed up and lost the paper work. Sent out the orginal purchase agreement and retail sales agreement i signed it and sent it back, but the other person never signed it because they never sent it back to have them to have it signed. The paper work was processed with my name on it and not other person. Now they have the car with me on the title and I am stuck holding paying the bills which they orginally agreed to through written contract. Is the ford liable for processing the paper work incorrectly as I was orginally agreed to that BOTH names where to be on the title when firs done.

If yours is the only name on the title and you don't sign the title over to your fiancee, the only way she can get title into her own name is by forging your signature to the title.

It's not Ford's fault that you didn't return the paperwork.
