My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: New York

Hello:
I have recently lost my job and I am no longer able to afford to pay credit card debts. I was up until recently paying through a debt counseling company but I am no longer able to afford to pay the debt counseling company so the credit cards will not be getting paid. What will now happen? I am hoping to find a job so that I can repay the credit card companies which was my intentions but with the job loss that will be impossible. Please help.
