    Default Copyright of a Article

If I write an article, and someone copies it, but does not copy word for word. In fact, all the original words or phrases are replaced with synonyms or equivalent meaning. Is that still a copyright violation, or considered an original piece of work?

For example, the original sentence is:
I enjoy going to the movies.

It would be rewritten in any of the following form:
I like to visit the theater.
    I love watching famous films.
My favorite hobby is to go watch movies.
    etc...

All sentences throughout the article are reworded/rephrased in a similar manner while keeping the meaning similar.

A paraphrase is a derivative work, not an original work.
