100% Sales Commission Jobs and Unemployment Benefits

My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: CA

I am currently employed as a salesperson for a company in southern california and I am on 100% sales commission. My job is in the RV industry, which has been devastated by the recession. The only reason I am staying is that I receive health insurance (which I pay for). It makes no sense to stay at this job but from what I understand, if I quit I will not qualify for unemployment. My goal is to collect unemployement until I find a new job and also keep my insurance as well. I feel my circumstances are unsual because I'm not making money, but I can't afford to leave. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Do you go out to customers to sell? Or do they come in to you? There's a reason I'm asking.

Excuse me, you do have to be paid minimum wage, then. You aren't getting that?

No, I am on 100% commission only.

I heard you say that. What I'm saying is that is a violation of minimum wage laws. Only OUTSIDE salespersons can be paid commission only.
