Unlawful Detainer

anybody know how long it takes for an unlawful detainer to go through to have someone escorted out of your apartment. I've already given a 5 day pay or quit and now I need to take this to the court. I heard this was a much faster process than the 30 day eviction notice. Also does anyone know how much it costs? I think thats my biggest worry. Nothing in life is free.

are you stating he has not paid you the rent?

You do realize he has the right to "cure" the action by paying you any rent due. That will stop your action totally.

you never stated where, precisely, this is. As I stated in your other thread, if you are within a city that has it's own ordinances, those are applicable as well as state law.

Take him to court for Unpaid rent and posseion of the unit. You get what you ask for.
