    Default Illegal Porn

My question involves criminal law for the state of: AZ

My computer was seized today due to the warrant saying that I had child porn. To the best of my knowledge, there is no such porn on my computer, but they said that I used limewire. What are they using to search my computer and what kind of charges could I be looking at? Granted there is none saved, but may be someting deep within?

Lawyer up immediately with the best online sex crimes lawyer you can find and don't talk to anyone, especially not the authorities, about this.

I've heard this story before: If this (http://cbs13.com/local/limewire.chil...2.1346842.html) story is accurately reported, you might be in trouble, even if everything was accidental and unintentional.

I wish I had better news for you.

Sorry. I hope if you're innocent of any intentional involvement that you won't get in trouble.

So what are my chances and what am I possibly looking at?

We can't say that without knowing what the charges are.

However, I will say that you picked your words very carefully. You say there isn't anything illegal on it NOW... but never said whether or not you ever possessed anything.

If you did and got it from limewire, you actually have two worries. One, that their forensic computer experts will find it. I assure you that deleted files are not completely deleted.

Second, that you are not the first in the chain... and that they already found the guy that provided them to you and traced your computer from his.

Oh, and if you did get and keep child porn, I hope you rot in prison.

Lime wire leaves an embedded cookie that most security systems won't remove. If you had downloaded child porn before, rest assured that you did not clean your computer of it. It would be a simple task for the authorities to follow that cookie to the downloads.

If you are foolish enough to talk to the police, you will be looking at up to 5 years maybe longer. Registration as a sex offender, probation for a decade at least. Those are just some of the things that can happen.

We are not Judges here. If found guilty, your sentence will totally depend on the charges you plea to, or are found guilty of. You can explore a plea deal or a not guilty plea with your attorney. Do not attempt to do this on your own.
