My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Colorado
I had many emergency room visits a while ago.All of them are in collections, and each has a separate account number. Are these accounts considered one big "open account" since it's the same hospital or are they considered separate "written contracts" for each visit? They have all been delinquent for 3 or 4 years with no payment. I think the SOL here for written contracts and open accounts is 3 years. Does anyone know when the SOL will run out on these ER accounts? Are they considered one big batch, so when a new one got added, it restarted the SOL, or will each "die off" separately? I'm worried if it's one big account, then the "last activity" will be more recent. Thank you.
