Adult Biting Minor

My question involves criminal law for the state of: UK

At the weekend my partners (now ex) best friend came over with his 36 yr old girlfriend of 2 months and was play fighting she got rougher and rougher and she bit hard in to my partners 10 year old son leg and left top and bottom teeth indents but didnt pierce the skin, we called police after she had left and took photos, she was arrested and denied doing it, even though her b/f had text my partner to say she didnt mean to do it that hard. she is bailed til the 27th Dec as the children have to do video statement, my partner and i have given our statements. the woman is a mother of 3!!!

What will she be charged for and what is likely to be the outcome????
