    Default Towed from Apartment Parking Lot

    My question involves towing laws for the State of: South Carolina

    I had my car towed from my girlfriend's apartment from a spot that she had told me was visitor parking. All the other spaces in the complex have a number painted on the ground and the two manager/maintenance spots (which have no number) have a sign saying reserved space - no parking. I was given no notice. Do I have any recourse?

    The signs posted around the parking lot say what about parking?

    You were parked in one of the numbered spots, or you were parked in a manager/maintenance spot?

    I was parked in neither a spot that had a number nor a spot that was reserved manager/maintenance. It had no designation.
