Default Florida Child Support Modification (Permanent)

Is their a law that states, that permanent child support may NOT be *permanently modified* until a person is unemployed for 12 months or greater? I do understand that it can be temporily modified--BUT, is their a way to get it *permanently modified* prior to that? I have been unemployed for about 8 months? Please advice?

Does your question have anything to do with the arrears mentioned in your other thread?

There is no such thing as a permanent modification. Current and future CS is always modificable.
However, any CS arrearages cannot be modified.
