I was far up and in between where no vehicle could put the lifts anyway....there was plenty of room for a whole car in between where my bike was and the actual spot anyway. The blue lines were merely nonexistent.
that is a lousy argument. It doesn't matter if you were where you believed it would not be used, the fact is, if you were within the area designated as a HC parking spot, you were breaking the law.
If you really want to argue it, look in the link minutes posted and see if the spot fit the requirements for marking a HC spot. If they markings/signage does not fit the requirements by law, they cannot enforce the ticket.
If the space was marked properly, as required by law, pay the ticket and quit thinking you get to make the decisions on if you were far enough out of the way or not. It is not a matter of degrees, it is a yes or no, black or white answer; you were either in a HC space or you were not.
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.
