i have a friend that was divorced from her husband over a year ago. He was ordered to pay a certain amount for child suport and half of the child's medical expenses.
She is suppose to keep records of medical expenses and send hima bill which he is suppose to pay. she does so, but he doesn't pay it. He claimes all he has to pay is the child support and that is it.
She has taken him back to court to sue him for the medical bills but nothing is really getting done about it. he was ordered to pay extra to catch up, but is not doing so.
the attorney told her it was going to cost her $500 to take him back to court which she figured was fine cause the court would allow $250 for court fees. afterwards she got a bill for over $750 and still has not recieved a dime of the medical bills or attorney fees he owes her.
what can be done in Illinois to get this deadbeat to pay up?
