    Default Unemployment Extensions

    My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: Texas

    Has anyone ever been denied Tier 1 unemployment extension? I will exhaust my my regular funds Nov 15 but I'm not too sure if I will qualify for an extension. I'm just wondering if any one has been denied an extension after they have exhausted the regular funds? Thank You for your help.

    Has anyone ever been rejected? I think it's more than reasonable to assume so. But we have no way to relate anyone else's experience to yours.

    Yes, I was denied a first extension in July. Filed for appeal in August and have my hearing this week. Don't give up file the appeal!
