Unpaid Sales Commissions

My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: Texas

I used to work for a company in Texas as sales manager in 2005, and my compensation was salary plus commission, but inever got paid any commission during the time i worked for that company, back then i was new in the USA and i did not know about the local laws, i did not sign any employment contract with company, just what they called an employment guide, do you think that i have the right to ask for my commission right now ???

What evidence do you have that your compensation was supposed to include commissions, or how much the commissions should have been?

You can try filing a wage claim, but after three years I don't know that they can help.

Too late for a wage claim now. Federal law can be up to three years, but federal law is silent on commissions. The TWC would have taken the claim, but the outside time limit there is 180 days.

Only option you would have now is to sue and without anything in writing, and almost three years after the fact, you would have a hard time proving breach of contract.
