Violating Court Ordered Visitation

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Texas

I Now live in Oklahoma my children live 9hours away in Texas and My x-wife has been keeping them away from me for almost 2 years now. Is their a cheaper way to make her follow our court ordered visitation schedule other than having to pay an attorney to take her back to court? Please Help

File papers in TX (where I assume that is where the original court order was done at) and file for contempt. She will have to explain to the judge why she kept them from you. But what you have to do also is make sure that you have done and still do everything you can to keep in contact with them. Document when you call, when you send emails, txts, etc... Have you ever tried to exercise a weekend visit (for example) and she's not at the pick up drop off site??

No, you do not have to have an attorney, but it does help to.

Was the visitation order modifed when you moved to OK?

If not, now would be a good time to also file for a modification.

Yes we have been documenting everything, and have drove down their several times They are never home and will not answer our calls. We send gifts to the school so the kids will get them . She has responded to a few facebook messages but will not cooperate with us at all. Thanks for your advice will do!
