Default Florida Child Support- Mandatory Financial Info

Here's the deal- UIFSA case being worked through FL DOR. NCP's attorney requested I submit mandatory disclosure documents. FIne, done with that. FL DOR requested mandatory disclosure documents of the NCP.

Come to find out that NCP did not submit all required documents. For example, needed to file 3 years worth of 1040's and only submitted 2 years.

Already brought to attention of FL DOR, but is this acceptable? If not, what are my options?

Also need to weigh options of being there for hearing versus phone conference. I know its important to make sure the support is set correctly based on income. Other party unpredictable, and not sure they wouldn't use the opportunity to serve me for some other matter like custody.

Did ex submit the last 3 years of tax returns?
Did he submit at least the last 3 months of pay stubs?

If so, it's doubtful that the DOR will do anything. If it's a situation where you believe that the missing 1040 would make a huge difference, you might want to push the issue with your caseworker.

It's always best to be in court in person. But appearing telephonically is also okay as long as you are willing to speak up if you believe that something is being left out.
