My question involves paternity law for the State of: Oklahoma
My biological daughter is 5 yrs old. When I was dating her mother, she became pregnant. She decided to have an abortion, because we weren't getting along and she didn't want to be "tied" to me for the next 18 yrs. I told her that if she would keep the baby, I would leave and not contact her, in order to keep her from aborting the baby. She agreed. I am a very responsible divorced father of a 13 yr old daughter and 11 yr old daughter, am remarried, and have an 8 month old son. I think about my bio daughter often, and through online records searches, have found her mother in Texas. I have not contacted her yet. I would like to know if I have any legal rights to ask for a paternity test. I would be happy to pay child support, and desperately want to see my daughter. I would have done this long ago, but couldn't find her for years. What remedies or options are available to me? Please help,
Loving Dad
