Personal Property Left by a Houseguest

My question involves personal property located in the State of: oregon



So my question is I have someone who was allowed to stay at my apartment and moved out leaving behind quite a few things nothing to special an ipod is the most expensive thing she keeps harrassing us about having the police open the unit to retrieve her propertty but how would she get permission to do that i talked to the local pd they said its a civil court thing but the situation boils down to the fact that we are not home and they want the stuff right now i would really apreciate some advice thanks

You might consider making actual arrangements with the other party. Discuss a mutually agreeable date and time so she may recover her property, and be done with it.

ok thanks thats what were trying to do she is not wanting to co-operate but will try working it out tomorrow with them
