Question Linking Streaming Video on Own Site

I have my own personal website where I have embedded videos from you tube/google videos ect onto my site and blog. Some of these video include what I believe to be copyright material (tv show clips, a couple of documentaries, ect). Is this illegal? Do I need a license from the owner?

Possibly. If you believe your use would violate somebody's copyright and you don't want to go through the trouble of verifying the legality of the video, the safest approach is to not use it.
