My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: Colorado

A close friend recently burned his eyes with a chemical solution found in a cleaning agent used for aircraft carriers. In fact, both eyes were damaged severely, burns covered over 90% of one cornea and 60% of the other. This was his first day, due to it being a day labor job. Intense pain caused him to self check into the ER a couple hours following his duties. A specialist hoped for 90% improvement within one week. However, to his disappointment there has been no improvement. Leaving him with severe vision loss and possible future cornea transplants. Who should he contact regarding a possible future lawsuit? Could this lead to a major workers compensation suit? Any help appreciated. Thank You!
