Unfair Article 15 Proceedings

My Chain of command is pushing an article 15 through legal. I have had multiple people tell me to take it to court martial because they now its rubbish. I was detained by MP's for my own safety. I was with two battle buddies as ordered and one of us was sober as ordered. They are trying to punish me for being in an altercation with a woman in a nato country when i never even spoke to the woman nor did i do anything to the woman. i walked by and stood by my battle buddy while he was being assaulted by this woman and questioned by the police. When they detained us they never once took blood or breath to test our BAC nor did the finger print and photograph us for an offical report.
How can they flag me and then push this article 15 all the way to the colonel and why am i going to have to go to court for this. i really need some advice because im just amazed an iraqi veteran doing the right thing as ordered and LISTENING to the MPs and not running from the scene or fighting or anything bad at all is getting punished!

I would never tell you to push this through to a court martial. Worst case scenerio you get a field grade article 15, loose a half a months pay and get extra duty. If you are found guilty at a court martial... OMG... THAT'S BAD!!!
I know plenty of soldiers who have had filed grade article 15's and went on to have GREAT military careers.
Get with JAG see what they can offer, but do not take this to a court martial.

Well that alone shows they dont have substantial evidence against you of being guilty of a charge. It should be thrown out even as a feild grade. My advice is to talk to legal on your circumstance and bring your evidence before a real lawyer/officer. find someone, maybe a supervisor or legal counsler or anyone of good standing to speak for you on this matter. hope it goes well. keep us posted.
